38th International Scientific Conference Sudan Association of Surgeons (SAS) 1st Announcement Sudan Association of Surgeons is pleased to announce for its 38th International Scientific Conference. The Conference will take place in Khartoum-Sudan in 1-3 April 2010. Theme is “Safety in Surgery”. It would be a big pleasure for us to meet you there. The meeting will be of interest to surgeons, anaesthetists, and pathologists from Sudan and abroad. Allied health workers, residents, students, experts in development and in medical education, and members of governmental and nongovernmental organizations focused on health care will also find the meeting informative and stimulating. This three-day conference offers attendees from the surgical community the opportunity to join their peers in a collaborative advocacy effort. The Conference is intended to provide a comprehensive review and update in all aspects of surgical practice, training, development, and education. Guidelines for "Prof Abdel Aal Young Surgeon's award" Candidates for the prize must: · Be the first author of the paper · Be a Sudanese surgeon registered in SAS or a surgical registrar · Be under 40 years of age · Clearly mention applying for the award when submitting the abstract · · Submit the complete text of the abstract via the email:
